Evaluations

Legacy Kids Inc. is a New York State approved Early Intervention Agency through the department of health. All children ages birth through three are entitled to a free evaluation under New York State Early Intervention Program (EIP). If you have concerns or questions about your child’s development we can administer an evaluation at no cost. A multi-disciplinary team will administer an evaluation to see if your child qualifies for services.

The areas of development that are assessed are cognitive, communication, social, adaptive and physical abilities. The results of these tests will determine if your child is eligible for free services through the county.

If your child does not qualify we also offer private services.
